Although the founder of this iconic French brand was born in 1912 to a family of coal miners, Louisa became an expert in needlework and fine embroidery. At the beginning of the 1930s, she began designing jackets, dresses and, importantly, lingerie where she displayed her skills at English embroidery. Very soon, the great Parisian haute couture houses were clamouring for her designs. By 2007, the brand launched its own lingerie house and began producing the exquisite garments for which Louisa Bracq is renowned. Recognised for their expertise in producing gorgeous bras for the larger cup sizes, Louisa Bracq knows that ladies with a fuller figure desire beautiful and colourful lingerie.
